Brian Conley angers Strictly co-stars

Brian Conley has reportedly been getting "special treatment" on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 56-year-old comedian has been rubbing his fellow competitors up the wrong way as they feel he’s at an advantage because his brother Alan Conley is a long-time floor manager for the ballroom and latin show and reportedly helps the bosses call all of the shots.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Alan has worked on the show for years and his inevitable closeness to Brian has been putting noses out of joint. There is fury among a group who think Brian is getting special treatment.
"Staying in ‘Strictly’ and doing well is in no small part down to how your clips are edited and the airtime each celebrity gets, so having a family member on staff is bound to help.
"Brian survived the first dance-off against former ‘Holby City’ actress Chizzy Akudolu, despite having been the favourite to go."
Brian hit the headlines last week after it was reported that he wanted to leave the show when he was heard telling his professional partner Amy Dowden "I’ve got another week to go ain’t I?" while on spin-off show ‘It Takes Two’ after she warned him not to injure himself.
However, the funny man – who is the bookies’ favourite to be the next contestant eliminated – insists he is enjoying the competition and is hoping he can progress further.
He tweeted: "Just woke to news that I apparently want to be out of strictly what utter bulls**t! I’m loving this & 100% want to stay in as long as poss (sic)"
‘Strictly Come Dancing’ will return to screens this weekend on BBC One.
