Brad Pitt’s mood has been lifted by spending some quality time with his children.
The 54-year-old actor – who has kids Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and nine-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox with his estranged wife Angelina Jolie – has been given a detailed schedule for spending time with his children by a judge who is overseeing his divorce proceedings.
A source explained: "Brad has been in the best mood. Although he was away from the kids for a week, it seems just the fact that he now knows when he will see them, makes him very happy."
Brad’s children are currently living in London with Angelina, who is staying in the city while she shoots new movie ‘Maleficent 2’.
And despite having to travel across the Atlantic Ocean in order to see his kids, Brad is much happier with life now he’s been given regular opportunities to see his children.
The insider told People: "He couldn’t wait to get back to England. Not following a proper custody schedule was very difficult for him. And very sad as well."
Brad and Angelina separated in September 2016, having tied the knot in France in August 2014.
However, Brad has always been passionate about having children and he’s loved spending quality time with his kids in recent weeks.
The source added: "Having kids was always very special to him. He wanted kids for years before he met Angie.
"He was dreaming about being a dad. And he has always been a great dad. Very involved and present. He talks about the kids nonstop now. He brought gifts back to England."
The court previously warned Angeline that unless she allowed her children to develop their relationship with Brad, she risked losing full custody of them.
