Boy George’s manager calls him "Batman".
Paul Kemsley loves to go out with the Culture Club singer, who lives with the businessman and his wife Dorit Kemsley, and has likened the 56-year-old star to the superhero because he loves to keep a low profile when he goes out, much like Batman’s alias, billionaire Bruce Wayne.
He said: "We go out a lot together a lot, too. He’s been famous for over 35 years and loves being able to go out without his trademark make-up and hat, and blend in without being recognised.
"I call him Batman. When he’s Bruce Wayne he wants to be left alone, but when he puts on the hat and the make-up, he turns into Batman.
"But now that I’m in ‘Real Housewives’ I’m instantly spotted and if he’s with me, people work out who he is. ‘You’ve blown your cover, PK,’ he laughs."
Paul loves living with his best pal George and admits the ‘Karma Chameleon’ hitmaker is like his therapist.
He said: "George is fabulous. First of all, he’s my best friend even though we’ve led very different lives – he’s a single gay man and I’m a married dude with five kids.
"On a typical evening he’ll be waiting up for me, watching the TV. We sit and chat. He’s like my therapist.
"I lie down on the sofa and tell him what’s on my mind. I run his life virtually and he runs mine emotionally.
Dorit – who has two kids, Jagger, three, and 18-month-old daughter Phoenix, with Paul – also loves laughing and joking around with their famous housemate.
In a joint interview with HELLO! magazine, ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star added: "I met George through Paul, and our relationship has become increasingly special. We’re always laughing and joking.
"In one episode I told him, ‘I’m the lady of the house. I know you think you are, but I am.’
"That’s typical of the repartee between us."
