Blossoms and Wiley are the latest acts to be announced for Bestival 2017.
The indie band and London rapper join the already eclectic line-up – including The XX, The Pet Shop Boys. Justice and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man – that are set to grace The Castle Stage when the festival takes over the Lulworth Estate in Dorset from 7-10 September.
Roots Manuva, Twin Atlantic, Fatman Scoop and Loyle Carner have also been revealed to perform at the music extravaganza and festival organiser, Rob da Bank, is delighted they’ve attracted yet another impressive collection of artists for the weekend of "fun".
Rob da Bank said: "Bestival’s formula is pretty simple – we like you guys having fun, exploring new ideas and listening to amazing bands and DJs in a massive field or forest or both at the same time whilst dressed as a multi-coloured gherkin."
Drum ‘n’ bass legend Andy C will be presenting 25 years of RAM at the festival and Rob thinks they’ve satiated all musical tastes with this year’s line-up.
He added: "If you like the sound of that you’re on board already, but if you need any more persuasion, we are proud to announce some mega new acts for Besti, repping the best in grime with Wiley, AJ Tracey and 67, through indie and rock with Blossoms and Twin Atlantic, all topped off with some good old fashioned rave with DJs from Heidi to Bjarki, Monki to the Ragga Twins and a massive garage takeover. Step up people, step the **** up!"
