Binky Felstead has quit ‘Made in Chelsea’.
The 26-year-old brunette beauty was a series regular on the reality TV show for six years – making her one of the original cast members – but she’s now decided to turn her back on the programme so that she can focus on her and her boyfriend Josh ‘JP’ Patterson’s daughter, who is due in a few months, now that the series is over.
Taking to her Instagram account before the season finale aired over the weekend, she said: "Was quite an emotional episode for me as this is my last full series filming after a magical 6 years.
"Looking back to the show’s very first episode & my very first scene I filmed with Ollie Locke and Cheska Hull it’s amazing & seems fitting I could end my time on the show with them as you see tonight.
"Thank you for the amazing amount of support and love – what an incredible experience, couldn’t be prouder of this show & how far it’s come.
"It’s been my second family and I will deffo be back to do the odd bits and bobs on it I’m sure in the future but now I feel my time has come to a natural end seeing as the next big (grown up) chapter of my life is about to begin!
"I’m not going away though, u can still follow my personal journey if you wanna… so keep your eyes peeled for what’s coming up! (sic)"
However, it won’t be the last fans see of Binky as she and her beau have agreed to do a spin-off that will give fans an insight into the last stages of her pregnancy.
A TV insider told The Sun newspaper: "Binky’s pregnancy came like a bolt from the blur for ‘Made in Chelsea’ fans and they’ve been desperate for more info ever since.
"A whole show dedicated to her and JP’s journey is bound to be a hit."
