Bindi Irwin "absolutely" wants to have her own brood of "wildlife warriors".
The 21-year-old conservationist – whose father was the late ‘Crocodile Hunter’ Steve Irwin – got engaged to fiancé Chandler Powell in July, and she says that whilst having kids is "a way" off right now, she wants to "take over the world" with her kids one day.
Asked if she plans to start a family, Bindi said: "Absolutely.
"One day it’d be special to have my own little wildlife warriors!
"I think it’s a way away right now, but if and when it does happen, I can guarantee you they’ll have their own khaki because khaki is not just the colour, it’s an attitude."
When quizzed on how many children she would like, she replied: "We’ll take over the world and make a difference together!
"I’m excited. I have a lot of hopes for the future."
Bindi recently said her father – who tragically passed away in 2006, when he was pierced in the heart by a stingray barb whilst filming a documentary – is going to be "a big part" of their special day, and she’s revealed her brother Robert Irwin, 16, looks set to give a speech as well as walk her down the aisle.
She added to New Idea magazine: "I think so – it would be wonderful for him to share a few words. And I’m excited to involve so many close people in my life in our wedding day, because it’s about celebrating our love but also about celebrating everybody who’s helped us to get to this point in our lives."
On how they plan to honour her late parent’s memory, she said: "I’m trying to decide, but he’ll absolutely be involved with the ceremony and the reception.
"And, gosh, I wish he could physically be there for the day, but I think that he’ll be there
in spirit."
Bindi, whose mother Terri Irwin will also be heavily involved, added that it will be extremely emotional for them all, and she hopes her younger sibling will "help" her "hold it together".
She told the Australian publication: "I think it’s going to be tough, but Robert is very strong and he’ll help me hold it together.
"He takes everything so seriously and always does such a good job with everything. He’s wonderful."
