Beyoncé’s new album taught her how to "come out the other side" after a bad experience.
Her mother Tina Knowles has revealed it was "so important" for the ‘Single Ladies’ hitmaker to show that "no matter what you’ve gone through in life you can always come out on the other side" with her new LP ‘Lemonade’.
She wrote on Instagram: "Toast to lemonade … B worked so hard on this project day and night! It was soo important to her to offer something that would bring about healing and hope to the universe! No matter what you’ve gone thru in life you can always come out on the other side! (sic)"
Meanwhile, in the newly released tracks, Beyoncé appears to hint that her husband Jay Z has cheated on her.
She sings: "Looking at my watch he should have been home. I regret the day I put that ring on …
"My daddy warned me about men like you cause every promise, don’t work out that way. Nothing seems to hurt like the smile on your face."
The HBO hour-long special – where Beyoncé announced her surprise album – was split into themes, beginning with denial, anger and emptiness. It ended with forgiveness, hope and redemption, appearing to suggest the pair are back on good terms.
