Ben Chilwell’s ex Joanna Chimonides ‘to join Love Island’

Ben Chilwell’s ex Joanna Chimonides is being lined up to join ‘Love Island’.
The England footballer’s former flame is expected to be one of 12 new contestants on the ITV2 dating show, after she and the Leicester City left-back split at the end of last summer.
According to The Sun Online, Joanna previously declined the chance to join the programme but is now said to have accepted an offer.
The brunette beauty is expected to join the show as part of the Casa Amor plot twist, which will this year see the current crop of girls head to the second villa, where they will be joined by six new lads.
And the current guys will be joined in the main villa by six new female arrivals.
In previous times, the lads have headed over to Casa Amor to see if their resolve could be tested by the introduction of six new girls, but show bosses are expected to switch it around this year.
A source recently said: "In an epic plot twist the female Islanders will head to Casa Amor while the boys stay put at the main villa.
"The finer details are still being discussed with producers but the plan is for all the Islanders to leave the main villa in four Land Rovers.
"The girls will travel to Casa Amor but the boys will be redirected back to the villa."
Casa Amor caused controversy on the show last year when Jack Fincham headed over to the second villa with the rest of the lads only to be greeted by six ladies, including his ex Ellie Jones.
Back in the main villa, Jack’s then-girlfriend Dani Dyer – who he went on to win the programme with – was shown footage of him revealing he used to date Ellie, and she was left in tears.
The incident sparked more than 2,500 complaints to Ofcom after Dani wasn’t shown other footage of Jack in Casa Amor, where he refused to crack on with any of the new girls, declaring his affections for Dani.
