Belle Hassan wants Anton Danyluk to meet her dog before they make their relationship official.
The pair were coupled up in the ‘Love Island’ villa before being dumped just one day before the final during Sunday’s (28.07.19) episode of the ITV2 reality show, and Belle has now said they won’t be making things official between them until she’s had a chance to introduce him to her pet pooch.
When asked what their plans are now they’re out of the villa, Belle said: "With us, I think definitely a few dates. He’s gotta meet my dog, and my brother. I’ve gotta meet your dad. And then … yeah."
And 24-year-old gym owner Anton added: "It’s just dating on the outside now and seeing how we get on. But we’ve built foundations in the villa, so let’s take it outside and see how we get on."
The Scottish hunk insists he didn’t ask Belle, 21, to be his girlfriend while they were in the villa because he wants to see how they get on in the real world before they commit to anything serious.
Speaking on ‘Love Island’s spin-off show ‘Aftersun’ on Sunday, he said: "If I’m honest, I’m just a realist in there. Literally I’ve been true to myself the whole way through, and I think you’re spending 24 hours a day with each other in the villa but when you come out that’s not going to be the case. You’ll see each other once or twice a week. So I wanted to see how that would go once we got out. Get the chance to do that, and then once I know after a week or two, then we can move on."
And Belle agreed, saying she doesn’t take the title of girlfriend "lightly".
She replied: "It’s all come together so quickly, you’ve gotta test things. And I think it’s not a light comment, saying someone’s your girlfriend or boyfriend. I don’t take that lightly."
