Bella Thorne will star in Assassination Nation

Bella Thorne is set to star in ‘Assassination Nation’.
The 19-year-old actress has been cast in the upcoming thriller movie alongside 26-year-old ‘Allegiant’ star Bill Skarsgard, 45-year-old comedian Joel McHale and ‘Selma’ star Colman Domingo, 47, and Maude Apatow.
According to Variety the script for the production has been penned by Sam Levinson, who will also direct the project, whilst Foxtail Entertainment, Phantom Four and Bron Studios will produce the film.
And 25-year-old model – who has graced the runway for designer brands including Burberry and Tommy Hilfiger – will also star in the forthcoming film and play the role of Sarah, alongside fellow model Hari Nef, 24, Odessa Young and singer Abra.
It has been reported the cast will join forces to start shooting scenes for ‘Assassination Nation’ this Spring in Louisiana.
The film will follow a group of four teenage girls who suddenly get unwanted attention from across the globe after personal information about them has been leaked by an unknown hacker.
Foxtail Entertainment’s producers, Matthew Malek and Anita Gou, who will be behind the project are extremely pleased with the "amazing ensemble cast".
They said: "We couldn’t be happier with this amazing ensemble cast that is going to bring ‘Assassination Nation’ to life in a big way."
And Malek and Gou believe Levinson’s "strong vision" for the movie and the "killer cast" will make for an unforgettable and entertaining film.
They continued: "Sam has such a strong vision for the film that will combine an incredible story, a unique visual style, and now a killer cast that is anything but ordinary."
David Goyer – who worked on ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ – will co-produce ‘Assassination Nation’ alongside Malek, Gou, Kevin Turen and Aaron L. Gilbert, whilst Creative Wealth Media’s Jason Cloth and Andy Pollack are on board to executive produce the project.
