Bella Thorne wants a partner who "understands" social media.
The ‘Shake It Up’ star – who has been romantically linked to singer Charlie Puth following her split from ‘Teen Wolf’ star Tyler Posey – wants to find a person who doesn’t mind being in the spotlight.
She told the new issue of Paper magazine: "They don’t realise that social media is such a big thing in my life. So when you’re in a relationship with someone who doesn’t understand social media, it’s a really big f***ing challenge … If you’re not willing to be down with that, I can’t change that about me.
"You think I want paparazzi following my every move? You think I want people trashing me on the Internet all the time, talking s**t about me? No! But that is my life, and if you’re dating me, you need to know that you have to take that on in a sense, too."
It comes after Bella took to social media recently to insist she has been "single for two weeks" amid claims she cheated on Tyler with Charlie.
She wrote: "Ty and I have been broken up for like over two weeks and charlie and I ARENT DATING we are friends. (sic)"
Her denial comes after Charlie took to his own Twitter account to say he thought she was single when their rumoured romance reportedly took place
He wrote: "I can’t believe what I’m reading. No one should have their heart messed with like this, and I’m not going to be in the middle of it. I don’t know Tyler personally, but I know he shouldn’t be treated this way. She told me she was not with him anymore. This is all news to me. I want nothing but peace for all, I’m just removing myself from this. (sic)"
