Bear Grylls is set to team up with Prince William and Harry on a forthcoming top secret television project.
The 41-year-old adventurer has persuaded the royal brothers – the grandsons of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip – to join forces with him on an outdoor series after striking up a bond while working on a conservation project in China last year.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Bear said: "Prince Harry and William are great. We’ve met on a few occasions especially with championing the conservation stuff in China. We’ve done a few projects there. I’m a big fan of them. We definitely have a TV thing in the pipeline but we’re keeping that under wraps at the moment. It’s very exciting."
And that’s not the only screen gig Bear – whose real name is Edward Michael Grylls – will have on his hands as he’s adamant his show ‘The Island With Bear Grylls’ will return for another series next year, despite it being branded a "fix".
He said of the possibility of a fourth installment: "There will be another series, which is fantastic. It’s a great show. It does get ugly this series though. It’s amazing, it’s inspiring – and total respect to what the contestants go through."
