Ashley Roberts to guest judge Let It Shine

Ashley Roberts is to join the ‘Let It Shine’ judging panel for one of the semi-finals.
The former Pussycat Dolls singer will give her verdicts alongside Gary Barlow, Martin Kemp and Dannii Minogue on the second of the live shows as they pick between four boy bands to compete in the final to land a place in the upcoming Take That musical and Ashley can’t wait to get stuck in.
The former ‘Dancing On Ice’ judge said:"I’m beyond excited to be joining Let It Shine and taking a judging seat beside the brilliant Gary, beautiful Dannii and handsome Martin.

Programme bosses have revealed the four bands will each perform a classic Take That hit before they are joined on stage by Gary and his bandmates Mark Owen and Howard Donald for a special performance of ‘Shine’.

The groups which make it through will then be disbanded and the contestants will be judged as individuals to get their places in the final.
Meanwhile, Gary recently admitted he is hoping his talent show gets commissioned for another series.
The 45-year-old singer-songwriter wants bosses at the BBC to give him the go-ahead to create another installment later this year because he wants to search for the next successful girl group.
He previously told BANG Showbiz: "I’ve been thinking at this point, touch wood, I hope we get a stage two, and what that device may be I don’t know, but it will definitely be focused around bands again.
"The underlining message for this show is teenagers can live a very solidarity life with their games and their phones and I think what this show, it’s teaching people to work as a team, I would love to do something again with bands in t
