Ashley Roberts disliked middle name Allyn

Ashley Roberts hated her middle name as a child.
The 35-year-old singer has admitted she used to be "so against" her second name Allyn, which is also the title of her debut shoe line, when she was growing up because she considered it to be a name solely given to men.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz about the title, the blonde beauty said: "I was so against it when I was growing up because I thought it was a boy’s name."
However, Ashley has revealed her parents used the name because they wanted to carry on the family tradition and feared they would never have a son who they could "pass on" the title to.
She explained: "What happened was that all of the boys on my Dad’s side of the family all have the middle name Alan but spelt differently. And then my mum and dad thought they were only going to have one child so they wanted to pass on the Alan."
And the ‘American star has revealed her parents altered the spelling to make it sound "more feminine".
She said: "My mum was like ‘Let’s put a ‘y’ in it so it sounds more feminine.’ And that was how I got my middle name."
Meanwhile, Ashley is open to the idea of reforming The Pussycat Dolls, which was also made up of Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, Jessica Sutta and Melody Thornton, in the future.
The ‘Button’s hitmaker said: "Never say never but it’s definitely not something that’s happening right now.
"We would have to all get together and do it together. If we all do it, I am on board. It was so much fun. It was a crazy ride. We danced and sang, I think that’s what really set us apart."
