Ashley Roberts and Giovanni Pernice have split.

Ashley Roberts and Giovanni Pernice have split.
The Pussycat Dolls singer and the 29-year-old professional dancer have gone their separate ways after more than a year together, but have insisted they will always "remain friends".
Giovanni announced the news on Twitter, when he wrote: "@ImAshleyRoberts and I have made the decision to separate as a couple. We remain friends and wish each other well for the future."
As of the time of writing, Ashley, 38, is yet to comment on the news.
The couple began getting close whilst Ashley was competing on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ in 2018 – where Giovanni is a professional – although she was partnered with Pasha Kovalev.
Meanwhile, Ashley recently said she "trusted" Giovanni ahead of the latest series of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, as she insisted she wasn’t concerned about the possibility of the hunky dancer getting close to his dance partner.
When asked if she would be worried if Giovanni gets partnered up with a "hot woman", she said: "That is a good question, but I do trust him.
"I feel like we have a real connection. He is also really supportive and he’s so excited I’m doing ‘The Waitress’. He’s like, ‘I’m going to be there on the first night.’
"We weren’t partnered up. We ended up having a bit of a romance on the show but it evolved into something so much bigger after that."
And the blonde beauty recently said she’s "too busy" to have kids.
She said: "I guess my biological clock should be ticking. You see these headlines warning you only have so much time and it puts stuff in your head, so I was worried about all that last year, but then I was, like, ‘I’m not even going to put that out into the universe; if children are meant to be, they’re meant to be.’ Now I’m too busy to think about it. Let’s see what next year has in store and take it bit by bit. I feel young inside and if things don’t work out timing-wise, there’s adoption, there are other avenues I can take."
