Ashlee Simpson and her husband Evan Ross are set to star in their own reality show.
The pair will give fans an exclusive look into their life as a married couple on the new show ‘Ashlee+Evan’, which will premiere on E! on September 9.
Ashlee, 33, married 29-year-old Evan – the son of Motown legend Diana Ross – in 2014 and the docu-drama will follow the duo as they juggle marriage, friends, family and their careers.
The first episode of the show will be a special hour-long version, followed by five half-hour episode s in the coming weeks.
Although some reality TV families have felt the effects of being recorded 24/7, Evan isn’t worried about any potential negative effects on his relationship with Ashlee – the younger sister of Jessica Simpson, who herself appeared on MTV fly-on-the-wall show ‘Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica’ with her now ex-husband Nick Lachey.
Evan said: "I think in any relationship in this industry, there’s a stress on relationships. I think that’s reality, but in no way do I think that if a relationship is meant to be together and a marriage is meant to be together, that anything like a show or being in this industry can change that. I don’t think any fear is coming from our relationship, which is a good thing."
Ashlee and Evan are parents to two-year-old daughter Jagger and the ‘Pieces of Me’ hitmaker also has nine-year-old son Bronx with her ex-husband Pete Wentz.
Ashlee recently admitted she is keen for her and Evan to have another child together.
She said: "I definitely want to have another one, for sure. I love being a mom. I mean there’s really nothing greater than my kids. So, for me, that’s something I continue to want to do in life."
