‘Aquaman’ will be released on October 5, 2018.
The eagerly anticipated DC Comics movie starring Jason Momoa, Amber Heard and Willem Dafoe is set for release in IMAX and 3D.
Meanwhile, director James Wan recently teased details about the movie.
He said: "I kind of don’t want to give too much away but know this: The spirit that I’m going for is like a classic sort of swashbuckling action adventure, sort of high seas adventure story. It’s ultimately a quest story in the spirit of ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’ meets ‘Romancing the Stone.’"
Momoa (Aquaman) and Heard (Mera) will be making an appearance in ‘Justice League’ and Wan believes this will give the world a hint of what their standalone movie will be like.
He told Entertainment Tonight: "I think Amber and Jason Momoa, in their moments in ‘Justice League’, are going to give the rest of the world a flavour of what their own standalone movie could be. And that is just scratching the surface of what I plan to do."
Amber is really looking forward to playing the underwater queen – and the wife of Aquaman – and is very excited about her costume.
She said: "Yeah, yeah I have. It’s interesting. It’s like, half suit of armour, half scales. I don’t know, it’s strange. But we’re in the process of building it now, so it’s coming along."
