Anton du Beke "loves" getting up in the middle of the night to feed his twins.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional is devastated that his children – whose names aren’t yet known – are now eight weeks old because it means it won’t be long before they sleep through the night and he won’t have to get up to give them their bottles.
The 50-year-old dancer’s wife Hannah Summers told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I am expressing and he takes the bottle so he can feed in the night.
"He is really involved. I said it would not be that much longer they will be feeding in the night, and Anton said he would miss it. How many men say that?"
Anton added: "I can’t tell you how much I love it.
"They are now eight weeks and it goes in a heartbeat. They are not sickly babies. They sleep well and they are calm. They sleep at the same time."
And, although the couple have hired a maternity nurse to help them adapt to parenthood, Anton is adamant they won’t be having a full-time nanny on board.
He explained: "I think having a maternity nurse is good as they teach you what to do next. I am learning as I go along."
Meanwhile, the pair – who started dating in 2007 – recently sparked rumours they’d got hitched in private after Hannah appeared at the Chelsea Flower Show with a ring.
A spokesperson for the couple later confirmed the news.
Anton hinted the pair were set to tie the knot sometime in 2017 when he revealed last year that the pair would "maybe" say their I dos in the next 12 months.
Speaking in 2016, he said: "She’s just perfect. I love her above all things. Will we marry? Maybe next year. We’re very happy.
