Anthony Quinlan splits from girlfriend

Anthony Quinlan has split from his girlfriend.
The ‘Emmerdale’ star, 33, has been dating dancing professional Dianne Buswell since they were introduced to one another by their mutual friend Gemma Atkinson when she was competing on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ last year, but it looks like their relationship is short lived as they’ve reportedly decided to go their separate ways.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: "It seems the curse of ‘Strictly’ is even affecting couples who just look like they’ll appear together.
"Anthony and Dianne insist the split is down to job commitments, as she’s based in London for ‘Strictly’ and he’s mostly in Leeds filming ‘Emmerdale’."
Bosses of the ballroom and latin competition are no doubt devastated to hear of the split as they were hoping that Anthony and Dianne would be the first real-life couple to partner up on the show when it returns to screens later this year.
A source said earlier this year: "Dianne and Anthony are excited by the prospect of being the first ever couple to dance together on the show.
"Bosses think their real-life chemistry would be a massive draw for viewers and would really rev up the competition.
"Dianne thinks the winning gimmick will guarantee her a place in the professional line-up as she’s still waiting to hear whether not she’s made the cut."
However, this isn’t the first time they’ve called it quits as they also briefly split in February when their busy work schedules once again affected their romance.
An insider explained: "They were loved up for weeks but things fizzed out once they both went back to work after Christmas.
"Anthony returned to filming and is based in Manchester while Dianne also has a busy schedule and lives in London, they started seeing a lot less of each other.
"They’re still close friends and didn’t end on bad terms but they struggled to see their relationship working, especially when Dianne goes back home to Australia."
