Ant Middleton losing weight for Soccer Air

Ant Middleton has promised to slim down for ‘Soccer Aid’.
The ‘SAS: Who Dares Wins’ star wants "to be a bit more agile" on the pitch for the charity football game – which takes place at Old Trafford in Manchester on June 6 – and he’s ready to give everything for the team.
He told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: "Last year was nerve-wracking, I wanted to take a back seat, and now I’m raring to go.
"I want to implement a lot of my leadership skills now. I’m going to be forceful this year – we’ve got to get that trophy back.
"I’ll be starting this year, after just being on during the second half. I’m going to lose a bit of weight, as I want to be a bit more agile. I’m training with my local football team."
The former soldier – who will line up for the England team – is ready to take on a leading role in the dressing room, and he admitted he "hates losing".
He added: "I’ll be doing a motivational speech and pep talks to rile the team up. I come from a competitive background and I hate losing."
However, he’ll still get in the spirit of the game – which raises money each year for Unicef – and he’s looking forward to a post-match drink.
He quipped: "Once we win the trophy, I’ll have a beer or two."
Ant is part of an England team made up of musicians Olly Murs and Danny Jones; women’s footballers Casey Stoney and Kelly Smith; and comedians Lee Mack, Tom Davis, Joel Dommett, and Russell Howard.
They will face a World XI team featuring Olympian Usain Bolt, comedian Mo Gilligan, and footballers Patrice Evra, Jaap Stam and Roberto Carlos.
