Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway returns on February 22nd

‘Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’ will return on February 22nd.
The co-hosts have confirmed their popular ITV entertainment show – which was first hosted by the duo in 2002, and returned in 2013 after a three-year hiatus – will be back in just nine days, after taking a break last year while Ant McPartlin focused on his sobriety.
They wrote on Twitter: "Right then, who wants to know when the new series of @itvtakeaway starts? #SaturdayNightTakeaway (sic)"
Ant and Dec’s ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ co-star Stephen Mulhern replied to their tweet, and joked he had sent them some ideas but the show but hadn’t heard back.
He wrote: "ME! Need to get my sequin jacket dry cleaned. Ps. Are your phones working? I sent you some fantastic ideas for the show but you left me on read… (sic)"
They tweeted: "Could’ve SWORN we replied! Anyway, it’s time to put everyone out of their misery, @itvtakeaway… Take it away! (sic)"
A message on the show’s Twitter then read: "We’re on it!"
And a gif announcing the programme’s return as February 22nd appeared.
Last month, a new trailer was unveiled to hype the big return, and hinted all of viewers’ favourite segments returning, including the likes of Ant & Dec Undercover and Win the Ads.
To the tune of the ‘Can-Can’, the two presenters sang: "’Saturday Night Takeaway’, the biggest yet, it’s back – hooray! Stunts and pranks and games galore, with me and you, and so much more!
"Loads of stuff is up for grabs, the live show where you win the ads. So grab your mum, your dad, your nan, for 90 minutes we all can-can! Amazing prizes – the audience will go insane. Big surprises – loads more places on the plane.
"Even though the hosts are small, we’ll have you dancing up the wall. The biggest stars you’ll ever see, all shown live on ITV!"
The duo also were interrupted by Stephen, seemingly confirming his return for the new series.
