Anna Vakili taking time off relationships after Love Island

Anna Vakili says ‘Love Island’ has "put her back in terms of relationships" following her bust-up and subsequent split from Jordan Hames.
The 29-year-old pharmacist is not ready to meet anyone just yet after being left "bruised" by her ‘Love Island’ experience, which came to an end last week after she was left fuming when boyfriend Jordan appeared to try to crack on with fellow Islander India Reynolds, just two days after asking Anna to be his girlfriend.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’, Anna said: "I’m single, so I came out of there single. I’m just going to concentrate on work, I don’t know if I’m ready to meet anyone now after that experience.
"It’s put me back a bit in terms of relationships."
Kate Garraway then said: "[Are you] a bit bruised?"
Anna replied: "Yeah."
She also isn’t planning to return to working in a pharmacy just yet, but hasn’t ruled out going back into the career at some point.
Asked whether she will return to her previous day job, Anna replied: "Not for now, but maybe in the future."
Anna admitted it was easy to forget she was on TV during her ‘Love Island’ experience, and she didn’t really take it in until she appeared on spin-off show ‘Love Island: Aftersun’ via a video link from the villa’s Beach Hut.
She said: "When you’re in there you don’t realise there’s cameras. Until ‘Aftersun’ live I didn’t realise, I was like, ‘Oh my god, I’ve been on TV all this time.’ "
Love Island’s fifth series came to an end last night (29.07.19) when Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea won the show and the £50,000 prize money – and fellow Islander Chris Taylor believes they were worthy winners.
He said: "Amber went on such a journey in there culminating on her winning, which was amazing. And Greg’s a really nice boy as well, he’s had such an impact."
