Angelina Jolie’s children don’t want to become actors.
The ‘Maleficent’ star – who has Maddox, 14, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10 and seven-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox with her husband Brad Pitt – says none of her children are keen on following in their parent’s footsteps.
Speaking on BBC Radio 4’s Women’s Hour, she said: "None of my kids want to be actors. They are actually very interested in being musicians. I think they like the process of film from the outside. Mad is interested in editing. Pax loves music and deejaying."
Meanwhile, the 41-year-old actress previously revealed her kids think her job is "ridiculously easy".
Her kids joined her to voice characters in her new movie ‘Kung Fu Panda 3’ and now have an entirely different perception of her profession.
She said: "It’s been, ‘If you want to, you can jump in, and here’s a crazy idea’ … and some of them were shy, but this one they all really wanted to and they all came together and did their recording together and took it very seriously – it was cute. Now that they’ve had a taste, they think Mommy’s job is ridiculously easy."
Despite none of them wanting to be actors, Angelina bought some of her children into the recording studio to make panda sounds for the film as she didn’t want them to "miss the opportunity".
She said: "They were kind of shy. I didn’t want them to miss the opportunity. They came in, and they had a lot of fun with it."
But that hasn’t stopped her children from thinking she’s a bit "weird".
She added: "They think I’m weird. Well, alright, they might. Maddox talks to me sometimes about writing as if he doesn’t think I’m terrible at it and Vivienne is just happy I’m a tiger in a panda movie. But, ah, she’s just a little one – she’s all sweet. I mean, there are moments when I can be cool, but they like to mess with me. They like to make fun of me. I’m just little mommy."
