Andrew Whyment ‘still joining I’m A Celebrity line-up’

Andrew Whyment is set to enter the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ jungle alongside a mystery star.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actor was expected to be named among the initial 10 contestants for the reality show, which were revealed earlier this week, but his name didn’t appear on the official announcement.
But, according to The Sun newspaper, Andrew – who plays hapless Kirk Sutherland in ‘Corrie’ – will still be heading Down Under to join the camp when the series has started, alongside another famous face.
‘Corrie’ fans were left fuming after Andrew wasn’t named as one of this year’s ‘I’m A Celebrity’ contestants earlier this week, and he then later revealed he was in a Manchester garden centre, rather than Australia.
He wrote on Instagram: "Being dragged around @bentsgardenhome looking at the Christmas decorations @nicski31 (sic)"
But several soap supporters were disappointed to see he was checking out Christmas decorations rather than preparing to chow down on some creepy crawlies.
One wrote: "Gutted was looking forward to seeing you in the jungle (sic)"
Another posted: "Why arent you in the jungle ??? (sic)"
One social media user shared: "What happened to @imacelebrity (sic)"
However, some fans are holding out hope that Andrew may be a late entrant into the jungle.
One wrote: "Chill out possums, ya kinda think he’ll be one of em that go in later (sic)"
And some supporters were just happy to give Andrew some tips while he was at the garden centre.
One posted: "I love Bents. Get some of the cook at home sausage rolls from the food hall and thank me later (sic)"
Andrew and the mystery name will join the likes of former footballer Ian Wright, reality star Caitlyn Jenner, singer Nadine Coyle, and Rak-Su star Myles Stephenson in the jungle.
Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts, comedian Andrew Maxwell, ex-‘EastEnders’ actress Jacqueline Jossa, Capital Radio DJ Roman Kemp, former England rugby player James Haskell, and TV presenter Kate Garraway are also heading Down Under.
