Andrew Whyment and Cliff Parisi banished to Jungle Jail after entering I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Andrew Whyment and Cliff Parisi were banished to Jungle Jail on their first day in the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ camp.
The ‘Coronation Street’ star and the ‘Call the Midwife’ actor both entered the jungle on Thursday’s (21.11.19) episode of the ITV reality show, but they’re yet to meet all 10 of their fellow campmates, as they were banished to Jungle Jail away from the main camp.
Andrew and Cliff first had to take part in a Bush Tucker Trial, titled The Frontier of Fear, which saw them split up and enter two separate sets to find a maximum of five stars each, making a possible total of 10 stars and 10 meals for camp.
First up was Andrew, who entered the General Gore shop to rummage around and try to find as many stars as he could. The task saw him search though rotting offal and fish guts to find one star, and stick his hand into a barrel filled with yabbies to retrieve a second.
Andrew found the remaining three stars in a crate, some jars, and a trunk full of spiders, meaning he managed to bag all five of his stars.
It was then Cliff’s turn to enter Buffalo Bill’s Bungalow, where he was confronted by two buffalo, and had to move around them to stick his hands into a number of holes that contained a variety of critters.
Cliff only managed to retrieve two stars – one in a hole full of cockroaches, and another in one containing fish guts – bringing the pair’s total to seven.
Following the trial, the pair were then sent to Jungle Jail, where they will be living in extremely basic conditions as the first prisoners of the series.
Andrew said: "Me and Cliff walked in and it was very basic. I’ve probably stayed in better hostels."
And Cliff added: "I’m on the floor. I’ve only just got into the Jungle and I mean there’s creepy crawlies and stuff and I’ve just had to deal with that and now I’m going to have to deal with them all night."
Back in the main camp, the 10 campmates were told the outcome of the trial, and were informed they could offer to share their seven meals with the newcomers in Jungle Jail, but they would have to send two of their own campmates to join them in the basic conditions.
After drawing straws to decide who went, Kate Garraway and Andrew Maxwell were chosen and headed off to jail to join their new campmates.
