Amy Willerton thinks she used to have fat ankles.
The 24-year-old TV star may be a perfect size 8-10 but she has admitted she’s never liked her feet and was thrilled when the bones became more prominent after she lost weight while competing on the dangerous winter sports show ‘The Jump’ last month.
Speaking to new! magazine, she said: "I really like my new ankles. I had cankles before and all the skiing defined them. I’m enjoying them while they last."
The blonde beauty managed to make it to the semi-final of the show, which took place in Austria, and is now trying to ease herself back into the gym gently because she’s still covered in bruises and is struggling to pick up any weights.
She explained: "I’m easing myself back into the gym. I went yesterday and couldn’t lift anything because of the bruises. I’m still too delicate. I aim to go two or three times a week for an hour. If I don’t have time I don’t beat myself up about it."
‘The Jump’ is notorious for seeing its contestants get injured out on the slopes so Amy admits it was a "relief" to return home unscathed.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, she said: "I’m so relieved, to do that show is such a blessing but it comes with a lot of physical risk, so to come back without any broken bones is a relief."
And Amy can’t wait to see her fellow contestants again soon.
She added: "The cast was amazing, we all got on so well, we were like one big family, we partied, cried together, nursed each other’s wounds, we really looked after each other and I miss them. I’m hoping to organise a reunion soon."
