Amy Schumer has confirmed she has tied the knot.
The ‘Trainwreck’ star took to Instagram on Thursday (15.02.18) to share pictures from the big day as she married chef Chris Fischer in Malibu earlier this week.
Captioning the string of pictures, she simply wrote: "Yup."
Amy’s close friend Jennifer Lawrence was in attendance whilst Jennifer Aniston, Judd Apatow, Bridget Everett, Jake Gyllenhaal, Chelsea Handler and Jerry Seinfeld were all seen at the nuptials too.
Amy has been romantically linked to Chris since November but she only confirmed her romance with him earlier this month. Sharing a photo of herself and Chris kissing in a photo booth at friend Ellen DeGeneres’ 60th birthday party on Saturday (10.02.18), she captioned the photo: "Happy Birthday @theellenshow thank you for having us! (sic)"
The 36-year-old star previously dated furniture designer Ben Hanisch for 18 months until last May but the pair vowed to remain friends.
Confirming their break up at the time, Amy’s representative said: "Amy and Ben have ended their relationship after thoughtful consideration and remain friends."
And now Amy’s romance with Chris is going from strength to strength, he will need to be "protective" of her, as she praised the quality in her former partner.
Speaking about Ben, she said previously: "He’s very protective of me. Like, not overprotective, but if someone’s taking pictures of me or filming in a restaurant, he’ll start taking pictures of them. He’s really cool; it’s not a problem to be around any of the sorts of people who are at these events. He takes it all in his stride. But when I say, ‘Shall we get out of here?,’ he’s like, ‘Yes!’ … I’m so lucky that I met him. And he hadn’t seen any of my work before we met."
