Amy Hart will get through heartbreak with help of ‘lovely girls’ in the villa

Amy Hart’s mother says she will get through heartbreak with the help of the "lovely girls" around her in the ‘Love Island’ villa.
The 26-year-old flight attendant – who is coupled up with Curtis Pritchard – admitted she was "100 percent in love" with the 23-year-old professional dancer, however after a dramatic recoupling on Tuesday (02.07.19) night, Curtis revealed he is having doubts over his romance with Amy, after newcomer Jourdan Riane caught his eye.
Amy’s parents Ian and Sue appeared on ITV’s ‘This Morning’ and revealed their daughter will be "alright" and remain strong because she has a good network of friends in the villa.
Sue said: "She’s never had a serious relationship and suddenly she’s met this guy, she really likes him.
"In one single day she’s admitted she’s fallen in love with him, so she’s fallen in love and been heartbroken in one day, so you do wonder how she’s actually feeling at the moment.
"Yeah I do [want to give her a hug] but she’s got all of those lovely girls around her and they are such good friend those girls, I truly believe that they will be looking after her and Amber’s [Gill] in a similar situation. They’ll be there for each other, they’ll be alright."
And the former Miss England’s parents insisted they approved of Amy going on the ITV2 dating show when she showed an interest in applying because they didn’t want her to regret not taking the opportunity.
Ian added: "You can’t suppress your kids ambitions can you, because I don’t want her to get to 40 and think ‘My dad wouldn’t let me go on TV when I was 26’. We’re only here once and we’re not coming back."
Sue went on to reveal that she’s struggled to watch Curtis showing a romantic interest in Jourdan and has had to "fast-forward" those moments.
She explained: "The hard bits for me to watch have been the last couple of days. I haven’t been able to watch Curtis talking to Jourdan and talking about Amy, I’ve been fast-forwarding those bits."
And it seems Amy is best suited to Curtis – who is the brother of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’s AJ Pritchard – because they always "laugh together".
Her parents added: "We don’t know at the moment what she goes for, she goes out on dates but she ever bought anybody home.
"They seem to get on really well, have a lot in common, they laugh together, I did feel that out of everybody they were more suited together."
‘Love Island’ continues on ITV2 tonight at 9pm.
