Amy Childs to return to The Only Way Is Essex

Amy Childs will return to ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ for the 10th anniversary special.
The 29-year-old television personality appeared in the first two series of the ITVBe reality show between 2010 and 2011, and it has now been revealed she will be heading back to the show that made her name to mark 10 years since it first aired.
A TV source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: "Amy is royalty as far as ‘Towie’ bosses are concerned and they know a reunion wouldn’t be the same without her. Initial discussions have already taken place and Amy is excited.
"She still talks to the old cast members and knows there will be some fun scenes. She is past the days of vajazzling but bosses would love her to do something tongue-in-cheek."
Whilst Amy – who recently confessed to suffering from depression following her split from partner Ritchie – admitted her television comeback has helped her get her "confidence back".
The beauty, who is currently on E4’s ‘Celebs Go Dating’, said: "It is me having a laugh again. I feel like I am enjoying work again.
"I felt like I really needed this to get my confidence back. I was focusing on my kids and my business and I needed this to focus on myself again, so that definitely means seeing me more on TV."
Amy "lost" herself following her split from Ritchie, as the break-up left her a single mother to her two children – two-year-old daughter Polly, whom she has with ex Bradley Wright, and a son born in September 2018, whom she has with Ritchie.
Speaking last month, she said: "The truth is I lost myself last year. I put on baby weight, I massively lost my confidence and I just felt really s**t in myself. I had split up from Ritchie and I was a single mum of two kids under two. I was depressed and didn’t want to do anything. It wasn’t post natal depression or anything I just completely lost myself. I love my kids to bits and I am so lucky to have them but I just wasn’t myself anymore. In the end friends and family had to sit me down and do an intervention. They sat me down and said I wasn’t having fun any more. I am a fun person but I didn’t want to do anything."
