Amber Rose doesn’t understand her fame

Amber Rose doesn’t know why she’s famous.
The 32-year-old model – who previously dated Kanye West and has a three-year-old son, Sebastian, with ex-husband Wiz Khalifa – insists she never wanted to be "a celebrity" and had a "very hard time" with people criticising her even though they didn’t really know her.
Asked who she admires, she singled out Madonna and her mother and added: "And myself. Because I came such a long way.
"I didn’t really want to be a celebrity. It just kind of happened to me. Without even asking, the paparazzi is following me around and I’m like, ‘I’m just a regular girl from Philly. I don’t know why you guys are following me. This is really weird.’
"And then the entire world is ridiculing me for things I’ve never even done. It really sucked and it was a very hard time in my life."
But these days, Amber – who will compete on the upcoming season of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ doesn’t care about people’s opinions as she has no time for negativity, and hopes her outlook inspires others.
She told America’s Harper’s Bazaar magazine: "Now I still see those things but I’m completely over it. I threw negativity out the window and just live my life for me and my baby. Hopefully I inspire women to do the same in life, with whatever makes them happy."
And Amber admits her own experiences have taught her to be less judgemental.
She said: "I think you need a very strong mind to be on social media because people are mean and ignorant out there. And I was one of those people. I remember back in Philly and I was poor and TMZ just came out and Paris Hilton was everywhere like, ‘People don’t understand how hard I work. I work really, really hard.’ And I was like, ‘Is this b***h serious right now? She’s an heiress.’
"But when I got this fame and I met Paris and she’s super sweet and she works really, really hard. It’s not easy. I had to live that and understand that life to not pass judgment."
