Amber Heard wants her lawyer to grill Johnny Depp if their domestic violence case goes to court.
The ‘Magic Mike XXL’ star – who claims she was physically and verbally abused by the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor throughout their marriage – intends to call her estranged husband to the stand.
Amber will also call her friend and neighbour Raquel Pennington to speak as well as Pennington’s boyfriend Joshua Drew. iO Tillett Wright has also been listed whilst Amber’s team have also compiled medical records and a photo of Amber holding pills taken in 2014, which they have entered as evidence, TMZ reports.
Meanwhile, whilst Amber has seven witnesses, Johnny has reportedly listed 23 different people to support his defence as he fights against having a permanent restraining order made against him.
This includes the two police officers that were first on the scene after the incident where Johnny allegedly threw his iPhone at Amber. Also, their housekeeper Hilda Vargas and Amber’s publicist Jodi Gottleib are featured on the list.
Whilst Johnny vehemently denies all the accusations made against him, Pennington previously claimed the 53-year-old actor "slapped her hands away" when she tried to break up an argument between the former couple on May 21.
Writing in a document for the court, she claimed: "[I got a text message] asking me to come over to her condominium unit. When I opened the door, I saw Amber by the couch, covering her head with her arms and hands, as Johnny was loudly screaming at her. I ran over and stood in between Johnny and Amber, begging Johnny to stop yelling at her. I put my hands out in a defensive manner motioning him to stop. Johnny slapped my hands away and screamed foul obscenities at me."
