Amber Davies couldn’t ‘commit’ to Kem Cetinay

Amber Davies couldn’t "commit" to Kem Cetinay.
The 21-year-old beauty appeared smitten with the hunk this time last year when they met and fell for one another in the ‘Love Island’ villa but she has admitted she had no choice but to split with him a few months later because she wanted to focus on her career and she found she couldn’t find the balance that would enable her to do both.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Thursday (21.06.18), she said: "You have to either commit to your relationship or commit to your career. You can’t do two things at the same time. Also our ages – being 21 for a guy is very young."
Kem, 21, is now rumoured to be dating this year’s contestant Kendall Rae-Knight – who was the first to get the boot from the competition two weeks ago – after they met on the spin-off show ‘Aftersun’ recently and exchanged numbers.
And, although Amber wishes Kem had told her before he jumped into another relationship, the brunette beauty has admitted she’s "happy" for him and Kendall.
She explained: "If they are [in a relationship], I am happy for them."
However, Amber has teased that she and Kem may get back together in the future – even though they’re not talking at the moment because they’re trying to move on.
Host Ben Shephard asked if she still spoke to her ex, and she said: "Not really, not anymore. You can’t be in touch with your ex, can you?"
She then added: "Yeah, it might be like a happy ending…maybe."
