Amanda Clapham and Alfie Browne-Sykes have split.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ stars met on the Channel 4 soap, and began dating when their characters – Holly Cunningham and Jason Roscoe – embarked on an on-screen romance.
But after six years together, the real-life couple have decided to call it quits in secret, with their breakup reportedly taking place back in October.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "The relationship just ran its course – they didn’t want to make a big fuss or announce it publicly."
The publication reports Alfie, 25, has already moved out of the house they shared in Liverpool, and is thought to have taken their French bulldog Frankie with him.
As of the time of writing, neither pair have confirmed the split themselves.
Their split comes after 29-year-old Amanda – who first starred in ‘Hollyoaks’ in 1997 – shot her last scene for the soap in 2019.
Her exit came three years after Alfie chose to depart the show in 2016, alongside his on-screen twin brother Robbie, played by Charlie Wernham.
Whilst on ‘Hollyoaks’, Alfie and Amanda’s characters fell in love as teenagers, but their romance took a turn for the worse when Amanda’s character Holly had an affair with Jason’s twin brother.
The on-screen couple went on to get married, but their happy union crumbled when the affair came out during the wedding.
Amanda was revealed to have quit the soap in late 2018, when sources said she wanted to try and make it big in Hollywood.
An insider claimed at the time: "Amanda wants to explore other roles and would even move to America like other former ‘Hollyoaks’ cast members who’ve had success out there.
"She’s loved every minute of being on the show but it’s time to move on."
