Allison Janney admitted she’d given up hope of winning an Oscar prior to collecting her Best Supporting Actress Academy Award on Sunday (04.03.18).
Janney, 58, recently won a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, and a Screen Actors Guild award for her role in ‘I, Tonya’, and she added to her ever-expanding collection of gongs in Los Angeles.
But she confessed: "I had given up thinking this could happen to me. I just wasn’t being given the right kind of roles in films."
