A host of new characters and voice actors have been added to the cast of ‘Dennis & Gnasher: Unleashed’ ahead of the new series.
Freddie Fox – who starred in the gay-themed TV series ‘Cucumber’ in 2015 – is joined on the new CBBC and Beano Studios programme by a voice talent line-up that includes the likes of Rasmus Hardiker, Kathryn Drysdale, Ryan Sampson, Kelly-Marie Stewart and Joanna Ruiz.
The 52-part show is set to deliver high-energy humour and inspire imagination among young TV viewers, who will see Rasmus voice the part of Dennis’ arch-rival, the pompous Walter, while the iconic Pieface will be voiced by Ryan.
Elsewhere, new character JJ is being played by Kathryn, who previously starred in ‘New Blood’, ‘Doctor Who’ and ‘Horrible Histories’.
JJ boasts a no-nonsense attitude and is billed as the perfect on-screen ally for Dennis.
Meanwhile, Kelly-Marie is lending her voice to another new character in the shape of Rubi Von Screwtop, who is the group’s technology whizz and a budding inventor.
Rubi is a quick-witted adventurer who provides the gang with all the gadgets they need to help them navigate the action-packed new series.
And finally, Joanna plays the part of Bash Street School’s disciplinarian, Mrs Creecher.
Joanna also voices Dennis’ larger-than-life grandmother, who cheers on the group from her Harley-Davidson.
‘Dennis & Gnasher: Unleashed’ is set to air later this year on CBBC.
