Alexis Bledel secretly welcomes baby boy

Alexis Bledel has secretly given birth to a baby boy.
The 34-year-old actress and husband Vincent Kartheiser – who tied the knot in 2014 – welcomed a son around six months ago but they managed to keep the news of their new arrival under wraps until her ‘Gilmore Girls’ co-star Scott Patterson let it slip in a recent interview.
He told US Glamour magazine: "She’s really blossomed as a woman and now she’s a proud new mother and married and happy. We’re comparing notes because my son [born July 2014] is about a year and a half older than her young son. I’m showing her photos and videos and what to expect. We’re just really enjoying each other’s company."
And Scott went on to praise Alexis, who he first worked with on the ‘Gilmore Girls’ TV series before reuniting for the Netflix reboot, which picks up 10 years after events of the original show.
He said: "She’s just the most likable, intelligent person and adorable human being. She hasn’t changed at all. She looks the same."
Alexis’ representative confirmed that she and Vincent welcomed a baby boy last year but did not give any further details.
Alexis and Vincent, 37, first met on the set of ‘Mad Men’ and revealed their romance in 2012 before getting engaged in March 2013 and tying the knot the following year.
Although they tied the knot in June 2014, the notoriously private couple managed to keep the news under wraps for two months.
Their ‘Mad Men’ co-star Elisabeth Moss previously gushed about how happy Alexis makes Vincent, saying: "They are such a yin and yang. I’ve known Vinny for 12 years and Alexis is just the sweetest. I’ve never seen Vincent like this. It is really cool."
