Alexa Lee joins Hollyoaks

Alexa Lee has joined the cast of ‘Hollyoaks’.
The actress will make her first appearance as Sadie Cressington next week, where it is revealed she is the person who has been sending Harry Thompson (Parry Glasspool) anonymous texts asking to meet and give her money – and she is his ex-girlfriend.
Harry has been arrested for the hit-and-run on Grace Black (Tamara Wall), which left the club owner paralysed because he was unable to tell police where he really was as he didn’t want his boyfriend, James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) to know he was with Sadie.
But the former prostitute eventually comes clean to his paranoid partner, with his lawyer lover shocked to discover Harry’s secret ex is female.
The pair then unite to try and convince Sadie to help them prove Harry’s innocence – but she could be influenced by other forces in the village, and Alexa can’t wait for fans to see the twists and turns of the plot play out.
She said: "What an absolute pleasure and privilege it is to be joining the show and entering Hollyoaks village.
"The scenes I’ve filmed so far with Parry and Greg have been great fun. I’m super lucky to be working with a brilliant cast and crew who have welcomed me with open arms.
"I’m so excited for Sadie to be on your screens as there’s some big reveals coming up, great storylines and some massive decisions to be made."
Viewers already know Harry’s car had actually been stolen by Grace’s half-brother, Liam Donovan (Jude Monk McGowan) and Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe), who ploughed into the bolshy blonde while having a row.
Viewers will see Sadie for the first time on Wednesday 29 May on E4 at 7pm the following day on Channel 4.
