Alan Carr and other comics for fire benefit gig

Alan Carr, Michael McIntyre and Kevin Bridges are to team up for a comedy night in aid of the people affected by the Grenfell Tower Fire.
A host of famous comics – also including Micky Flanagan, Jo Brand, Rob Beckett, Josh Widdicombe, Jon Richardson, Katherine Ryan, Seann Walsh, Adam Hills and Russell Kane – will take to the stage at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, west London, on June 27 for a charity event to raise money for those affected when a 27-storey block of flats was engulfed in flames on Wednesday (14.06.17), leaving at least 17 dead, over 70 hospitalised and dozens of residents missing.
Tickets, costing £50, will go on sale on Friday (16.06.17) at 10am.
Proceeds will be donated via The Kensington & Chelsea Foundation.
A number of stars have reached out to help following the tragic blaze, which was believed to have been sparked by a faulty fridge.
Jeremy Clarkson raided his wardrobe and donated all the "clean clothes" he has.
Taking to his Facebook account on Thursday (15.06.17), the ‘Grand Tour’ presenter encouraged his fans to do the same as those who were caught up in the fire earlier this week have lost friends, family and their possessions.
He said: "Everything that was clean in my wardrobe has been donated. Please try and do the same thing."
Adele, 29, was spotted at a vigil for those who tragically lost their lives in the blaze.
A Twitter fan account for the singer tweeted the news in the early hours of Thursday morning, and claimed the star was "hugging everyone" and doing her best to "comfort them".
The user – who goes by the name @AdeleUnion – wrote: "Adele is at currently at Grenfell Tower asking if anyone needs help that was affected by the fire
"Adele was going around and hugging everyone she could to comfort them (sic)"
Twitter user @FourMee also tweeted about Adele’s appearance, and shared an image of the star at the vigil.
They wrote: "Adele near the #Grenfell Tower in an Abaya. Respect to you. (sic)"
