AJ Pritchard is set for a special Stand Up To Cancer charity edition of ‘Celebrity Hunted’.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ pro has signed up for the episode alongside the BBC competition’s 2012 champion Louis Smith for the Channel 4 reality show, which will see them evading former police officers and competing against other stars to try to escape capture.
A source told The Sun’s Bizarre TV column: "The ‘Strictly’ duo are a star booking for producers as they’ll draw in fans from the BBC prime-time show.
"They are sprightly and young and are fit and healthy enough to stay on their feet."
Contestants on the show are tracked through a range of methods, including house searches, phone records and even a special bank account set up for them to use during the competition.
Last October, the first celebrity edition of the show – which was also raising money for Stand Up To Cancer – featured Dominic and Stephanie Parker from ‘Gogglebox’, actress Anneka Rice, ‘Made In Chelsea’ boys Jamie Laing and Spencer Matthews, and eventual winners, The Wanted singers Jay McGuiness and Siva Kaneswaran.
The champion duo said at the time: "For all who’ve helped us along the way… who have been affected by cancer, there’s a lot to be proud of."
Siva later took to social media to thank the team involved, and all the viewer who supported them by donating.
He added on Twitter: "U guys didn’t make it easy, but what a GREAT cause @SU2C. Thank you so much @Hunted_HQ, everybody that helped us & to everybody that donated. (sic)"
