Adrian Edmondson lands guest role on Death In Paradise

Adrian Edmondson has been revealed as the first guest star on the new series of ‘Death in Paradise’.
‘The Young Ones’ actor joins the cast as the mysterious Charles Crabtree who will be an eyewitness to an attack on the Caribbean island of Saint Marie.
The news was announced on the official Twitter account of the BBC One series in a tweet which read: "Adrian Edmondson kicks off our guest cast reveal playing Charles Crabtree!
"Charles witnesses an attack in our first episode of the series but does his story really add up? #DeathInParadise"
Fans took to the micro-blogging site to express their excitement as one wrote: "Great addition to the show! So can’t wait for January #ilovedeathinparadise #mayorcatherinerules #catherinesbarrocks"
Whilst another suspects he could play the villain in the ninth season set to air early next year.
They added: "He looks pretty shifty. I bet he did the thing."
Ade is not the only guest set to appear in the next series.
Former ‘EastEnders’ star Nina Wadia, 50 – who lived in the streets of Walford as Zainab Masood for over six years – will also join the cast.
The tweet read: "Nina Wadia will join Death in Paradise as Anna!
"Will an encounter with D.I Jack Mooney lead to new things on the horizon? Tune in to an all-new series coming to @BBCOne early next year to find out! #DeathInParadise"
It was confirmed last month leading star Ardal O’Hanlon – who has played DI Jack Mooney on the show for three years – is leaving the programme next year and ‘The Royale Family’ star Ralf Little will be joining as new detective
The news was confirmed via Twitter in a statement which read: "CONFIRMED: @RalfLittle will be playing D.I Neville Parker in #DeathInParadise
"A fish out of water, how will Neville cope when he lands in paradise and what will Harry make of his new housemate?
"Tune in to series nine on @BBCOne in the New Year where all will be revealed!"
