Adele hid under a bed sheet to take her son trick or treating.
The 28-year-old singer’s little boy Angelo, four, was desperate to take part in the Halloween custom, so in order to be able to take him out undetected, the ‘Skyfall’ singer – who is in a long-term relationship with Simon Konecki – created a basic ghost costume from the furnishings in her hotel room.
Speaking on stage at Dallas’ American Airlines Centre on Tuesday (01.11.16), she said: "My son has just turned four and this was the first Halloween that he really kind of wanted to get into it, and we went trick or treating last night.
"You might wonder how I managed to do that. I literally took a sheet off of the hotel bed and wore it over my head and just walked around suburban Dallas. I got away with it for three hours. Can you believe I got away with it?"
The ghost outfit was Adele’s second Halloween costume, as she also shared pictures on Instagram of herself dressed as Jim Carrey’s titular character from 1994 movie ‘The Mask’, complete with suit, polka dot tie and fedora hat.
And the 54-year-old actor was thrilled with the gesture.
He tweeted: "Hi @Adele. It’s Jim from the other side. Weird coincidence, I dressed up as one of your roadies for Halloween. I absolutely love you. ;^* (sic)"
‘The Mask’ also starred Cameron Diaz in her feature film debut, and told the story of Jim’s character Stanley Ipkiss, a shy bank clerk who is transformed into a bizarre green-faced trickster when he finds a mask at his local harbour and puts it on.
Cameron portrayed Stanley’s love interest Tina Carlyle in the motion picture and she reportedly auditioned for the part 12 times.
While Adele showed off her comical side in the pictures, she recently admitted to being "frightened" after having her son and suffering from "really bad" postpartum depression.
When asked if she’s planning to have another child, she replied: "I’m too scared. I had really bad postpartum depression after I had my son, and it frightened me … I didn’t talk to anyone about it. I was very reluctant.
"One day I said to a friend, ‘I f***ing hate this, and she just burst into tears and said, ‘I f***ing hate this, too.’ "
