Adele: I’d be fine if I didn’t tour again

Adele has hinted she might never tour again.
The 28-year-old singer – who has four-year-old son Angelo with partner Simon Konecki – has admitted she would be "fine" if she didn’t play another concert and insists she only performs to please her fans rather than to make money.
She said: "I’d still like to make records, but I’d be fine if I never heard [the applause] again.
"I’m on tour simply to see everyone who’s been so supportive. I don’t care about money. I’m British, and we don’t have that … thing of having to earn more money all the time."
Adele admitted she would pull the plug on touring if going on the road started badly interfering with her personal life and making things difficult between her and Simon or Angelo.
She added to Vanity Fair magazine: "All of my relationships are more important to me than any tour I’ll ever do. If my relationship with [partner] Simon or my relationship with [son] Angelo started to flounder a bit now, I would pull out of my tour.
"My life is more important to me than anything I’m doing because how the f**k am I supposed to write a record if I don’t have a life?
"If I don’t have a real life, then it’s game over anyway."
The star is currently nearing the end of her 107-date worldwide ‘Adele Live Tour’, which ends on November 21 in Phoenix.
The ‘Someone Like You’ hitmaker nearly teamed up with Phil Collins on her latest album, ’25’, but he recently admitted she "got a bit difficult to find" and the song never came to fruition.
He said: "Adele approached me and in my dark years when I didn’t really pay much attention to what was going on, when I was drinking myself to death.
"I didn’t know who Adele was so she called me and asked me if I wanted to write to her.
"She’d had two albums out by this point and sold billions of records.
"She was lovely, we met in London and she gave me a piece of music to finish which I went hell for leather to finish but then she got a bit difficult to find and then it was because she had just had a baby and it was a little bit early I read later.
"I didn’t have a phone number I just had an email address and I tried to stay in touch."
