Adele dedicated ‘Make You Feel My Love’ to Stormzy at her concert on Monday night (04.04.16).
The 27-year-old singer stopped her show at The O2 in London halfway through her set to perform her version of the Bob Dylan classic for the grime star after she spotted him in the crowd.
The ‘Shut Up’ hitmaker – whose real name is Michael Omari – tweeted throughout the gig and admitted he was overjoyed to get the shout out from Adele.
Posting on Twitter, he wrote: "BRO I SWEAR ON MY MOTHERS LIFE ADELE JUST BIGGED MAN UP ON STAGE IM BUGGING THE F**K OUT WTFFFFFF … Bro mums life I’m so happy (sic)"
He also uploaded a video of the moment onto the social media site along with the caption: "Bro I’m just chilling then Adele just said this songs dedicated to me then sang "Make you feel my love" I’m dead (sic)"
In the video, Adele is shown saying: "I want to dedicate this song to a guy from South London, aka Stormzy … I hope you have such a great time."
Stormzy later shared a photo of a signed letter from the ‘Hello’ hitmaker on Twitter in which she revealed she’s a "big fan" of the MC.
Adele’s note read: "Stormzy Thanks for coming to my show. I’m a big fan! Always Adele."
Alongside the picture, he wrote: "You’re such an amazing soul @adele you don’t even know how happy you’ve made me today, thank you soooooo much (sic)"
The ‘When We Were Young’ star – who has three-year-old son Angelo with partner Simon Konecki – was performing her latest show in her run at The O2 for her ‘Adele Live 2016’ tour.
She finishes her run of concerts in the UK capital tonight (05.04.16).
