Adam Scott has joined the cast of ‘Little Evil’.
The ‘Parks and Recreation’ actor has been confirmed to star alongside Evangeline Lilly in the Netflix horror comedy movie that is due to hit the streaming service sometime in 2017, though no exact date has been confirmed.
The movie will be written and directed by Eli Craig, following the success of his last movie in the same genre ‘Tucker & Dale vs. Evil’, and the storyline will see Gary (Adam) who has just married Samantha (Evangeline) and becomes step-father to her six-year-old son who turns out to be the Antichrist.
Adam, 43, and Evangeline are the two newest additions to a cast that already includes names like ‘Scrubs’ actor Donald Faison and ‘Whitney’s Chris D’Elia. Also confirmed are Brad Williams, Bridget Everett, Clancy Brown, Marcus Terrell Smith, Owen Atlas, and Tyler Labine.
Owen Atlas will be playing Evangeline’s Antichrist son, but as of yet all other roles remain unannounced.
Producers for the project will come from Bluegrass Films and Mandalay Pictures, with Scott Stuber, Jason Michael Berman and Dylan Clark working as producers, and Nicholas Nesbitt and Mark Morgan taking on the role of executive producers.
For ‘Ant-Man’ star Evangeline, the movie will mark her first role since giving birth to her second child, whose name is still unknown, with long-term boyfriend Norman Kali.
The 37-year-old actress – who also has five-year-old son Kahekili – said at the time: "This is my second time around, and I find I’ve been pretty lucky. It’s pretty straightforward, and I just love it. I feel good, I feel blissful."
