Adam Sandler is ‘sexy and cool’ in The Do-Over

Adam Sandler has been described as "cool, sexy and dirty" in his new film ‘The Do-Over’.
The 49-year-old ‘Big Daddy’ star was praised for his new lead role by film director Steven Brill at the premiere of ‘The Do-Over’ held at the Regal in Los Angeles on Monday night (16.05.16).
Sandler produces the Netflix film and stars as Max Kessler, alongside ‘Grown Ups’ star David Spade (Charlie McMillan), Paula Patton (Heather) and Catherine Bell.
Brill, who has worked with Sandler on ‘Little Nicky’ and ‘Mr. Deeds’ in the early 2000s, told Variety: "The idea of Sandler and Spade together was something I dreamed and fantasised about and it came to be. I’m more confident now than when we first started, but overall it’s Sandler at his best and as you’ve never seen him before: being interesting, cool, sexy, dirty but also sweet."
‘The Do-Over’ – which premieres on Netflix on May 27 – follows two down-on-their-luck guys who decide to fake their own deaths and start over with new identities, only to find the people they’re pretending to be are in even deeper trouble
Brill said: "This is different; it’s an action comedy, but it’s also a bit of a mystery and a bit of a detective story. It’s got a lot of different genres going on. It’s specifically Sandler, but it’s also a little bit in a direction where you don’t know where you are, what’s going on and you don’t know what’s going to happen next, which is a really fun experience."
And he’s not the only one to gush about Sandler, Bell added: "He wants to make sure you’re enjoying yourself. He constantly throws out ideas for you to try. He’s very involved, always in there."
The film is executively produced by Allen Covert and Kevin Grady. Actress Katheryn Hahn (Becca), Nick Swardson and Renee Taylor also attended the premiere.
