Abbey Clancy’s daughter wants to compete on Britain’s Next Top Model

Abbey Clancy’s daughter wants to compete on ‘Britain’s Next Top Model’.
The 31-year-old model and head judge on the Lifetime show has admitted her six-year-old daughter Sophia – who she has with her husband Peter Crouch – is desperate to sign up for the programme and undertake various tasks in a bid to be named the champion.
The catwalk icon told OK! Magazine: "Sophia already wants to be on ‘Britain’s Next Top Model’. She’s like ‘How old do you have to be to get on?’ She’s still super girly. If we don’t have any boys, Liberty can be our boy. She’s wild and a bit more boisterous. She still wants the glitter on and the lip gloss like her sister, but Sophia is more prim and proper and Liberty’s a bit more like: ‘Raah!’."
Although Sophia is too young to start modelling the style muse believes her oldest child will boast a successful career in the fashion industry, if she decides to follow in her footsteps, because she has inherited her father’s long legs.
She said: "I’ve been so lucky with my career. I’ve got to travel the world, work with some incredible people and I’ve had a really nice experience. I’m a firm believer that life’s too short, so you’ve got to work hard at school and then you have to do what makes you happy. I won’ force her into doing anything. Hopefully she picks something I can help her with. She’s definitely got the legs. It helps having a dad who is 6 foot 7 inches."
Meanwhile Abbey, who also has two-year-old daughter Liberty and is pregnant with her third child, has revealed filming the competitive show during her pregnancy was a "bit of a shock" to her and proved to be a difficult time because she was plagued with morning sickness.
She explained: "It was a bit of a shock and I’ve been very ill. I’m quit sick when I’m pregnant, but it’s fine. I’m over that now and my production team were very kind to me. But it’s not an illness being pregnant and I don’t need a medal. There are so many mums out there who work far harder jobs than I’m doing. It’s just one of those things that, as women, we have to do."
‘Britain’s Next Top Model’ is set to air on Lifetime on October 19.
