Abbey Clancy is ‘traumatised’ by the burglary

Abbey Clancy has been "traumatised" by the burglary.
The 30-year-old supermodel, who came face to face with two men roaming around her holiday home in the South of France whilst she was holidaying in the luxury resort – is completely disturbed by the ordeal and can’t stop thinking about what could have happened is her and her friend had not woke up and screamed on seeing the strangers in the villa.
A source told The Sun: "Abbey seemed quite traumatised. She can’t stop thinking about what could have happened to them if they hadn’t woken up or if the burglars had been armed.
"Abbey has tried her best to put what happened behind her but it hasn’t been very easy to shake off and she has struggled.
"But it was a really nasty shock for her."
However, her husband and England footballer Peter Crouch – with who she has daughters Sophie, five, and 15-month-old Liberty Rose – was not at home at the time, but has remained in contact with the mother of two since the incident.
A source said: "Peter has been commuting between Paris and Antibes, but he was in Paris at the time."
"He was horrified someone had broken into the villa and extremely relieved Abbey and her pals were okay.
"Luckily, Abbey was due to fly to the UK on Tuesday, so she didn’t have to stay in a villa where she would not have felt safe."
Meanwhile, the ‘Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model’ judge seemed to be having a relaxing time in the country prior to the break in.
The blonde beauty has recently shared photos on her social media account of her vacation, which saw her indulge in a pampering session and hit the azure-coloured sea for some water sports.
Alongside a picture she posted on her Instagram account five days ago of her having a massage, she wrote: "Massage in the sun #sttropez #holiday #family #friends (sic)."
