Aaron Taylor-Johnson would love to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Quicksilver.
The 26-year-old British actor portrayed the super-fast mutant in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ but the character, the twin brother of Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), was killed off at the end of the movie.
Comic book fans have called for his return to the films and if the opportunity arose then Aaron – who is married to director Sam Taylor-Johnson – would be very happy to work with Marvel Studios again.
When asked if he was interested in reprising the role in an interview with Metro.co.uk, he said: "Yeah, absolutely. But I don’t have any knowledge I could share with you if did."
However, the ‘Nocturnal Animals’ star’s chances of playing Quicksilver again appear to be very slim.
Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, has told fans that Quicksilver is "100 per cent dead".
He said: "Quiksilver is dead, 100 per cent. He’s not coming back any time soon, there are no plans … No escaping bullets, no retcon, no."
Elizabeth, 27, returned to the MCU as Scarlet Witch in ‘Captain America: Civil War’ and will also appear in the upcoming third ‘Avengers’ film ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.
