Helen Wood wins ‘Big Brother’

Helen Wood was crowned the winner of of ‘Big Brother’ tonight (15.08.14).

The former escort, who is famous for participating in a threesome with England footballer Wayne Rooney in 2010, fought off stiff competition from Ashleigh Coyle to scoop the title and take home the £100,000 prize.

Speaking to host Emma Willis after leaving the house, the controversial housemate said: "I can’t believe it. Ashleigh was the winner. I would have been out the first or second week."

Helen, who was given warnings about her behaviour on the Channel 5 series, also admitted she has a volatile attitude.

She said: "I’m completely over the top, out of order on many occasions, but when I argue with people they are constantly making remarks at me. Sometimes I just take it too far."

But Ashleigh insisted Helen, 27, who toned down her behaviour in the middle of the series, deserved to win.

She said: "She’s turned such a leaf over the last ten weeks…I’m so proud of her…Our differences were so big…we clashed straight away…I do think we have so many similarities too…Now, I’m over the moon for her, I’m really glad we sorted everything out over the last few days."

Christopher Hall came in third place, Ash Harrison in fourth, Chris Wright fifth and Pav Paul came sixth during tonight’s grand finale.
