Robert Pattinson: Geordie Shore is ‘greatest TV show’

Robert Pattinson says ‘Geordie Shore’ is "one of the greatest TV shows" ever.

The ‘Twilight’ star has confessed to being an avid viewer of the raunchy MTV reality show, which follows the antics of Gary ‘Gaz’ Beadle, Charlotte Crosby and Vicky Pattison, and thinks it’s one of Britain’s best TV offerings.

Robert told MTV.co.uk: "I love English reality TV. I like ‘Geordie Shore’ – it’s like the ‘Jersey Shore’ of England. It’s amazing, one of the greatest TV shows I have ever seen in my entire life."

The 28-year-old Hollywood heartthrob went on to insist he genuinely likes the larger-than-life characters in ‘Geordie Shore’ and doesn’t just watch it to laugh at Gaz and co.

He added: "And it’s not really laughing at people because I don’t really like that kind of reality TV … the people in it, you genuinely really like them, it’s crazy."

Robert’s love of the hit MTV show follows similar admissions from native Geordie Cheryl Cole and ‘Burn’ hitmaker Ellie Goulding.

Ellie recently revealed she and boyfriend Dougie Poynter often argue over their TV viewing habits.

She said: "He will not watch ‘Geordie Shore’ and I absolutely love it so that’s been a big debating point for us."
